Its’ that time of year again: the time where for five days I live with a rumbling stomach, killer eye bags and one hell of an attitude. But all for the greater good! 2017 marks the third year I will be participating in the Live Below the Line campaign run by Oaktree, this year as a lucky Student Ambassador. Live Below the Line is a nationwide campaign that encourages people to limit their food spending to $2 a day for five days to raise money and awareness about extreme poverty. This $2 limit mimics the extreme poverty line, and while we will only be surviving on this minimal budget for our food for a week, unfortunately this is everyday reality for so many across the globe. To find out more, check out Oaktree or sign up here. If you’d like to donate to my page, click here. The more money I raise, the more challenges I put myself through!
